🚂 All Aboard the Spell Train! 🧙‍♀️

Get ready for a magical, spooky (but not-too-scary) adventure this October! The Spell Train is pulling into the station, and we need brave young witches and wizards to help us brew a powerful potion.

Will your spell be strong enough to turn creepy ingredients into tasty treats? Join us for a day of steam, spells, and shadows at the Railway.

🌟 The Adventure Begins

Your journey starts in our Transformed Display Hall, filled with glowing pumpkins, darting bats, and a few friendly skeletons to set the mood. Follow the trail of glowing lanterns up to the platform, where the Great Cauldron awaits.

🧪 Your Mission: The Great Ingredient Hunt

Before you board our specially decorated two-coach train, the Witches of the Cauldron will give you your quest. As the train rolls through the “swirling mists” (don’t worry, it’s just the enchanted windows!), you must search your carriage for:

Red-backed spiders 🕷️
Yellow-winged bats 🦇
Frogs’ eyes and newts’ tails 🐸

A friendly Witch or Wizard will be on every carriage to help you find your ingredients and—most importantly—help you find the magic words for your very own spell.

⚡ Magic in the Tunnel

On the return journey, prepare for excitement! As the train enters the tunnel, you’ll recite your group’s spell. If your magic is powerful enough, the tunnel will erupt in flashing lights to signal your success!

🍬 From Cauldron to Candy

Back at the station, we’ll gather around the smoking cauldron. Toss in your found ingredients, recite your spell, and watch as the magic smoke clears to reveal delicious treats (and maybe a tiny trick or two!).

🎨 Fun Off the Tracks

The magic doesn’t stop when the train pulls in! Head to the Spooky Craft Workshop in our café to:

Create Halloween silhouettes of bats and trains.
Design your own pumpkin lamps.
Enjoy Halloween-themed cakes (some you can even decorate yourself!).

We encourage all our little visitors (and big ones too!) to come dressed in their best Halloween costumes.

Standard Train Departures:

13:30 | 14:10 | 14:50 | 15:30 (Early bird slots at 11:50 and 12:30 may be added based on demand!)

Admission:

Children: £5.00
Adults: £10.00 (Prices subject to final confirmation)

Location: Moor Road / Park Halt Power: Scheduled to be hauled by our Sentinel Steam Locomotive—look out for the sparks!
