DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT NOTICE - Sunday 9th August\nAs you may have noticed\,
  the landscape around our railway line is extremely dry and therefore very 
 flammable.In order to protect our environment\, our customers\, and our vol
 unteers\, we have made the decision to withdraw our steam services this Sun
 day.So if you are visiting us this Sunday\, we will be running our normal t
 imetable\, but using one of our historic diesel locomotives instead.\nAs pa
 rt of the change we will charging our regular diesel service prices - £9 f
 or adults\, and kids for a quid! (5-15 years)\nYou will still be able to ex
 perience the sight and sound of a steam locomotive however\, as Slough Esta
 tes Ltd No.3 will be in steam and running within the yard at Moor Road.\nTh
 ank you for your understanding of this matter.\n \n\n \nWhether you're a 
 transport enthusiast or looking for a memorable family outing\, there is no
 thing quite like the smell of coal smoke and the sound of a steam whistle t
 o brighten your weekend.\n🚂 The Journey\nBoard our vintage carriages at 
 Moor Road for a nostalgic trip up the line to Middleton Park. Once there\, 
 you can hop off to explore the woodland trails and playground\, or stay on 
 board for the return journey through the heart of Leeds’ industrial herit
 age.\n🛠️ The Engine House Museum\nYour ticket includes entry to our mo
 dern museum. Get up close to our collection of historic industrial locomoti
 ves\, learn about the local legends who built them\, and see the inner work
 ings of a real railway workshop.\n☕ Refreshments & Souvenirs\n\n\nThe Sta
 tion Café: Grab a hot brew\, a cold drink\, or a light snack before you bo
 ard.\n\n\nGift Shop: Pick up a souvenir\, from railway books and models to 
 "Bigjigs" toys for the little engineers.\n\n\n\nJourneys leave Moor Road at
  10:30\, 11:10\, 11:50\, 12:30\, 13:30\, 14:10\, 14:50 and 15:30. A full re
 turn trip takes approximately 25 minutes.\n\nYour tickets are Day Rover tic
 kets\, which means you can use them on any (or all) of our scheduled journe
 ys today.\n\n \n \nWe also have 2 Footplate Passes available today. Pleas
 e ensure you have read and understood the information on our Footplate Pass
  page before purchase of these tickets.
